Description
NGC 2841 in Ursa Major is a beautiful example of a flocculent, unbarred spiral. At 14.1Mpc distant, it is quite large and powerfully bright with many new, blue stars. It shares the field with several background galaxies, some of which may have their morphologies and colors identified, despite this image having less than three hours of total exposure time (LRGB). All processing was done in PixInsight.
