This image contains a variety of objects including supernova remnants (circular wispy clouds), dark, emission and reflection nebula and a variety of open star clusters. The circular supernova remnants are located 160,000 light-years distant in the Large Magellanic Cloud and are not within our Milky Way galaxy. These “small” circular remnants are deceptive in size since they actually span a size of hundreds of light years!
