Description
M11 or the Wild Duck Cluster in the constellation Scutum was photographed slightly off-center to show the surrounding Barnard dark nebulae B108, B112, B114, B115, B318 and B320.The many stars in the picture compose "The Great Scutum Star Cloud" which is the brightest stellar island outside the galactic center in the constellation Sagittarius. The photograph was taken with a SBIG ST-2000XM camera and a NP-101 Televue telescope using Astronomik LRGB filters.
