Description
The “War and Peace†nebulae, aka NGC6357 are diffuse nebula in the southern constellation of Scorpius at a distance of ~8,000 light-years. At the center of the image is an open star cluster, Pismis 24, which contains some of the most massive stars recorded. http://owlmountainobservatory.com/
