This is a really, really EARLY teaser for my new astrophotography imaging program I'm working on.. It's called CCDBot. CCDBot is coming along really well. I’ve got the precision slews working for both CCDSoft and Pinpoint. Both solutions work well, but Pinpoint is a little more forgiving. I’m also using a lot of tool tips within the program in order to make it idiot proof. The concept is “Astrophotography Automation for the Masses!” :-) Repeatable slew accuracy should be less than 10 arcseconds on average. With a little more work on the session database interface I can probably start some real world testing. So far I haven’t made it past the simulators on my PC yet. No Moon and clear skies! A very rare situation lately! Testing will have to wait for the full Moon!
