Decided I wanted a wedge to make it easier to polar align. Thought about a geared head but they are very expensive when they are rated at the same weight carrying capacity as the StarLapse. Modified the dovetail of the StarLapse to fit on an Astrotrac wedge and also used their portable pier. It looks heavy but actually its quite easy to carry around. The legs fit inside in an included bag for travel and the wedge flips over and locks into the tube also. Very sturdy and easy to adjust for polar alignment. I've put encoders on it now and am waiting on an Argo Navis to test them out.
