Description
Yes, another image of the ever-famous and ever-beautiful NGC 891. Although the conditions weren't completely favorable, this member of the NGC 1023 Group, at about 8.4 Mpc distant in the constellation of Andromeda, is pleasing in any aspect. It's nearly a twin of the Milky Way in size and composition, so may give us a hint of how our own galaxy might appear if viewed edge-on from a distance.
