Description
This picture of M-103 was taken with a SBIG ST-2000XM camera using a Televue NP101 telescope, a 0.8x reducer and LRGB filters. Exposure time was one hour. M-103 was the last entry into the original Messier catalog and some say it resembles an upside-down Christmas tree. I especially like the beauty and simplicity of the surrounding star field in the constellation Cassiopeia.
