Many photos will appear for this excellent eclipse. From the Midwest USA totality occurred close to sunrise, preventing me from recording totality. Nevertheless, this photographic overlay demonstrates the color shift that occurred over a brief 11 minutes time. KEY 1. The spectra at the left side of the photograph are from CFL lights out of the field of view bottom left. These provide a way to calibrate wavelength for this spectrograph and the lunar continuum spectra to the middle top and right top of the photograph. 2. The center of the photograph is the moon at 5:53am local time, and its spectrum above it. Note the heightened blue/green/yellow colors, not much red. 3. The right of the photograph is the moon at 6:04am local time, and its spectrum above it. Note the enhanced red color.
