Description
NGC6914 is a combination emission (red) and reflection (blue) nebula in the constellation Cygnus at a distance of 6,000 light-years. Ionizing radiation from massive hot stars produce the florescent red glow as intense radiation interacts with atomic hydrogen. The bluish areas are produced by star light reflecting off the dusty clouds surrounding these young stars. http://owlmountainobservatory.com https://www.facebook.com/OwlMountainObservatory
