Description
The globular star cluster, M15, contains a 14th magnitude planetary nebula, Pease 1, on its northeast side. Francis G. Pease discovered the nebula in 1928 and it measures only one second of an arc in diameter. M15 and M22 are the only globular clusters known to contain a planetary nebula. Dr. Pease has a crater on the moon named for him honoring his discoveries.
