Messier 27, the Dumbbell Nebula. Photographed with a Canon 300mm fl wide field lens at prime focus with Canon T3i DSLR, riding piggyback on top truss of 14.5" Zambuto Starmaster Dob. Tracking on the Dob for 30 seconds with Skycommander. The close up in the upper right is also m27, but with the T3i at prime focus to the Zambuto Starmaster. The close up image was superimposed as a layer on the wide field image using Photoshop.
