Messier 82 (also known as NGC 3034, Cigar Galaxy or M82) is a starburst galaxy about 12 million light-years away in the constellation Ursa Major. This image of M82 I took in 4 deferent imaging session between February 2017 and April 2017. First session was on Feb 24, taken from the Negev desert Israel. Lum=42x180sec bin1x1 Scope- TS 10" f/4 Newt Astrograph. Second session was on Mars 25, taken from Negev desert Israel. Red=10x300sec bin 1x1 Green=10x300sec bin 1x1 Blue=10x300sec bin 1x1 Scope-TMB130ss F/7 Apo. Third session was on Mars 28, taken from my home back yard. Ha=12x600sec bin 1x1 Scope- TMB130ss f/7 Apo Fourth session was on Mars 31 and April 1, taken from Negev desert Israel. Lum=23x180sec bin 1x1 Red=10x300sec bin 1x1 Green=10x300sec bin 1x1 Blue=10x300sec bin 1x1 Scope- TMB130ss f/7 Apo Dark, Bias and Flat were taken for each session. Total integration time for subs=10h 25m Scopes=TS 10" f/4 Astrograph & TMB130ss f/7 Apo. Mount=Losmandy G11 GII. Camera=SX Trius SX694 mono with SX FW and Astrodon 36mm GII LRGB-Ha Guide scope and guide camera=WO GT81 f/5.9 Apo & SX Lodestar.
