Well...that's probably the coldest night during which I have ever taken outdoor photos. My hands were numb and my telescope equipment groaned as I was trying to frame the moon. I didn't know what to expect. But anyway....here's the image I was able to get at 11:11 pm CST on the night of 1/20/19. The coyotes went crazy when the moon faded from view. You should have heard them...wow. Anyway, I used a Takahashi FSQ-106N and a Canon 6D DSLR camera. Settings were ISO 200 for 2.5 seconds. The background was exposed a bit more to bring out a few more stars and the moon contrast enhanced a smidgen via PhotoShop. No stacking was involved. This is just one exposure. Not sure what the temperature was but I assume it was about 5 degrees below zero at the time. I tried to polar align very accurately and used moon rate on my Takahashi NJP mount.
