Here is my latest image of the Helix nebula, also known as NGC 7293. There are lots of details about this nebula in Google so will focus on how I made this image without processing details yet . This is a result of two nights imaging sessions. First session took place in the Negev desert Israel on Fri Aug 30, 2019, in this session I imaged with NB filters Ha & OIII, moonless night. Ha- 10x1200sec @ -10deg c` on sensor, bin 1x1. OIII- 9x1200sec @ -10deg c` on sensor, bin 1x1. In SGP I selected rotate through event and dither every two images. Second session took place on the same location on Fri Sep 7, 2019, in this session I imaged with RGB filters, had half-moon on the sky but it didn`t interfere much. R- 11x600sec @ -10deg c` on sensor, bin 2x2. G- 11x600sec @ -10deg c` on sensor, bin 2x2. B- 11x600sec @ -10deg c` on sensor, bin 2x2. In SGP I selected rotate through event and dither every three images. Total integration time: 11:50h Calibration- Bias- bin 1x1 & 2x2- 200 each @ -10deg c` Flat- bin 1x1 for Ha & OIII- 30 each @ -10deg c` Flat- bin 2x2 for RGB- 30 each @ -10deg c` Dark- bin 1x1 for Ha & OIII- 10 each, 1200sec @ -10deg c` Dark- bin 2x2 for RGB- 20 each, 600sec @ -10deg c` Equipment details: Mount- Losmandy G11 G2 modified Scope- William Optics 152mm f/8 LZOS OK-4 optics, TMB design.
