Description
I really enjoy viewing and photographing the Trapezium in Messier 42. Eyepiece views are spectacular even in light polluted skies when I view this tight cluster with my 14.5" f4.3 Zambuto Mirror and Siebert observatory series 36mm eyepiece combined with 2-2x barlow elements. Eyepiece projection from this optical system to my Canon T3i still does not fully replicate the incredible pin point resolution of the many stars I see with my eyes, but this image is getting close to what I observe. Enjoy.
