The "land" portion of this image was taken at sunset with a slow shutter speed of the Fort Bragg, CA headlands. Red was added to the image. The top Milky Way image is from a DSLR wide field image, the bottom is a reflection of the Milky Way in a pond. All editing was done in PS CS6 using layers and masks.
