Description

Spiral Color Compilation I’ve been imaging Mars on a regular basis since July, 2020. I ended up capturing dozens of images so I thought it would be interesting to put together a few composite image presentations. This first image presentation begins in July and continues thru opposition in October. The individual images were selected to represent one complete rotation of Mars. They were all taken at the same image scale so the increase in Mars image size from July thru opposition in October is very apparent. South is up per the preferred orientation of the Association of Lunar and Planetary Observers, (A.L.P.O.). All Images: Telescope: Celestron 14” SCT Camera: ZWO ASI290MC
