Description
The brightness difference between the center and the outer detail is at least 1,000 to 1. For this reason great care must be taken with exposures and processing to keep detail in both. The center exposure is short compared to the long OIII exposures for the outer shell. This was taken with an SBIG 16803 and a Planewave CDK 17 ... the image is considerably cropped. Sharpening and noise suppression software was utilized to accomplish this. Taken from my house in Foresthill, CA.
