Description
Imaged under Bortle 4 sky about an hour from my light polluted home location. Great transparent sky for the normally hazy summer Midwest. Messier 101 in a fairly wide field capture using William Optics Zenithstar 61 APO riding on my Starmaster Dob for tracking. Not much field rotation in this 20 minute livestack in SharpCap. ZWO ASI294MC Pro camera cooled to 10-deg C. Some processing in Digital Photo Professional for this posted image. Several smaller apparent size companion galaxies visible along with M101.
