Description
IC 1795 is a star forming region located approx. 6,000 light-years away in the northern constellation Cassiopeia. Situated next to IC 1805 the Heart Nebula, it is part of a complex of star forming regions that lie at the edge of a large molecular cloud. This is a Tri-color Narrow Band Image using the Hubble color palette. Data was taken on 20, 21, 22 & 24 October 2020 from Lockwood Valley, California Ha 260 minutes 1x binned, 20 min sub-exposures OIII 340 minutes 1x binned, 20 min sub-exposures SII 520 minutes 1x binned, 20 min sub-exposures Total Exposure Time = 18 hours 40 min Camera: SBIG STXL-11002M, Scope: Planewave CDK-17 at f/6.8, Mount: Paramount ME Off-Axis Guided with SBIG Self-Guiding Filter Wheel
