Description
Taken September 1, 2022, using an astro-modified Canon 70D and a SkyWatcher EvoStar 120ED. 28 one-minute frames. I think it looks like a (swan) genie coming out of the lamp, accompanied by a sidekick, the little guy floating along on the left. Processing this was quite a learning adventure. First try using DSS and GIMP gave a lovely image in purple tones. Then I tried AstroPixelProcessor, and it became bright orange — a new flame nebula! This version is a combination: stacked in DSS, then background and star colors calibrated in APP. Then into GIMP for final adjustments.
