Description

Another ambitious project that unfortunately took me over a month to finish. Wolf's Cave is a beautiful target in itself, but it frames even better when the SNR shell in the background provides some depth to the image. Utilizing LRGBHO, this is another project completed using @Charles Hagen 's narrowband combination and continuum subtraction methods. They're very hard to beat for a composition such as this. Feel free to check out the guide on his website: https://www.nightphotons.com/guides/advanced-narrowband-combination Originally I had planned maybe 10 hours of Ha data on this project, but even after 10 hours, the signal was still very weak, so I pushed on to nearly 20 hours of Ha data. Realistically I think I could have kept going but I wanted to move on. It was pretty apparent with the Oiii signal that the only target producing oxygen emission was DeHt5, so I stopped after just a few hours.
