Description
Nice lunar occultation of Mars 13-January 2025 imaged at 21:08 EST near the point of 1st contact. William Optics Zenithstar 61 with Canon T3i at prime focus. 1/1000-sec exposure at iso 200. Interesting that a single exposure sufficed given the brightness difference, although Mars has been very bright this opposition cycle. Final processing in Digital Photo Professional.
