Description
M20 is one of my favorite objects, because its pretty and combines 4 different types of objects, an open cluster, an emission nebula, a reflection nebula and a dark nebula. In star parties in the summer it is one of my favorite objects to show people. And yet, I have only imaged it twice, once in 2010 for 20 minutes with my 10" Newtonian and once with the AP refractor for just over an hour in 2020. My focus was off and my image processing was not great either. I never felt I got a good image of it, till this week. This time I put in 4 hours and 15 minutes spread across 3 nights due to clouds, and had decent focus which helped bring out a lot of faint details.
