Description
B33 and NGC 2024, two nebulae in the Orion Molecular Cloud Complex, straddle the eastern most star in Orion's belt, Alnitak. Taken from my Bortle 6 backyard using a Skywatcher 72ED with an Orion 0.8 reducer, ASI2600MC Pro camera, Optolong L-Quad filter, EQ6-R Pro mount and an ASIAir Plus. 20 x 240 sec frames, 20 darks, flats and bias frames. Stacked and processed in Pixinsight. This is only the second image I have processed after moving from electronically Assisted Astronomy (EAA).
