Hi,<br><br>Thanks for the good review. It sounds like a great scope for the money. I am considering an SCT GEM GoTo setup at some point in the future, and would probably go with the ASGT mount. Here is a question for you...<br><br>Do you think that the 8" at $1514 is worth the difference over the 6" at $999? Givin a limited budget, and the fact that I already have an 80mm semi-apo refractor, which would you recommend?<br><br>Also, do you have any feeling for the cool down times on this scope, vs. and 8", or vs. the 150MAK? Timm,<br><br>Thanks very much for your comments. Given the choice, I would prefer the 8" Celestron over the 6". They are both very good optically, but the additional light grasp of the 8 makes its performance far better on deep-sky objects. It weighs only about 4 pounds more than the 6". Cool-down time on the larger scope might be a bit longer, but it will still come to thermal equilibrium before the Mak-Cass.<br><br>Larry
