I think it's QUITE a stretch to call this an "asteroid". Objects this small used to be called "meteoroids". The Museum of Natural History in NYC has a fragment of a meteoroid significantly larger than this "asteroid". If the definition has been changed - well, it shouldn't have been. Harumph!
