Cosmic Jet Looks Like Giant Tornado in Space
Astronomers examining a region where new stars are forming found a surprise - an object that looks like a giant tornado in space. The apparent tornado is shaped by a cosmic jet packing a powerful punch as it plows through clouds of interstellar gas and dust. The scientists could only speculate about the source of the spiral appearance.

them's stars?
Awww, come ON, spiral structures are found all over the ding dang place in space. Galaxies, star clusters, that thingie that they just announced sticking out of the center of our galaxy with a 'DNA' double helical pattern, and who knows how much else.

The key word here is 'MAGNETISM' (but don't forget the pressure waves, please..).

Jess Tauber
