Atmospheric oxygen as on earth can only be attributed to biochemical photosynthesis. I guess this shows other processes can produce atmospheric oxygen, although not much of an atmosphere compared to earth. Little understood processes such as 'ion neutral chemistry' abound outside our planet. Space chemistry, like cosmology, can really only be theorized outside the realm of our planet. But what great fodder for those with such inclinations.
