I was at the Chiefland star party and was out every night from the 28th<br>of Oct to the 6th of Nov. and the show was spectacular. Not many but<br>big, 10 - 50* across the sky, some broke apart. At 59 yr.old I thought <br>I had seen my share of meteor showers but on Friday night the 4th at 11:25pm I experienced something I shall never forget. I HEARD one.<br>Standing looking through my scope I heard a ffssssst and a bright light caught my eye, as I looked up I saw the fireball come apart. The entire field made the old AAAAHHHHH sound at the same time. I shall always remember that!

If the peak activity is 4-7 November, then is seems to me to be a little late to post an article about the shower on 6 November. Still, I guess, late is better than never.
