Total Lunar Eclipse Last Night
After fighting the clouds for a while I finally got some shots of the Total Lunar Eclipse.
These were taken with a very small 50mm or 2" diameter Borg refractor telescope @ F24 & Canon 10D digital SLR.
1/60 sec exposure for the phases at ISO 400 and 8 second exposure for the Totality shot (center).
The really cool part was seeing all those background stars, Pleaides, & Milkyway, while the Moon was in deep orange/red (Totality).
If you missed it, you'll get another chance in 2007.
Enjoy!
Best Regards,
