WOW!

Does anyone know if this might be first time an orbiter has imaged the lander for another mission?
MRO took a similar picture of the Phoenix aeroshell on its way down:

http://hirise.lpl.arizona.edu/phoenix-descent.php

In this shot even the lines to the canopy are visible!
Great job NASA, but MAN would I love to have those optics in a scope of mine!
Just think, 210 miles away and see an object the size of a school bus,
I know the lander is sub SUV size, WOW
ADAPTIVE OPTICS and Image stabilization.
Looking forward to the pix.
Just think when we finally get there well have a Vikingberg
and Odysseyville...SojournerTown... any others?
You own more of those optics than NASA

Remember - they work for YOU
