Restoring 50 Year Old Star-Liner Mount

This link https://youtu.be/CusD8MXkoSc follows the various procedures of faithfully restoring and rebuilding a Star-Liner Equatorial Telescope Mount. Beginning with the arrival of a  Star-Liner Mount rescued from possible disposal in a dumpster in Feb 2021, quickly followed by disassembling of the mount, cleaning parts, replacing a faulty ball bearing, the building of a hefty pier with legs and wheels, the steps to make quality 10 inch setting circle, a set of counter weights for the declination axis, and, etc.  The restored and rebuilt mount currently holds a 6 inch refractor for testing the mount and for making preliminary observations. A 10 inch true Cassegrain will soon replace the 6 inch refractor.
