ratings after a purchase

Hello,I was wondering if the person that you buy something from has the opportunity to give ratings.I'm new to astromart and dont have any yet and its important to me anyway to recieve what is due to me.I bought a primary mirror,spider,secondary mirror and holder in an auction not long ago,I had this persons money in his account within 15 minutes.I gave him top rating for being of such help walking me thru the paying process and got a perfect product.Hopefully he will read this message and remember to post my ratings.Read this Bill!!!Darrell Hensley

You can find the ratings qualification box by cut and paste the email address in the User Profile found on the left side. Play with those listings and you will find several interesting ways to research transactions before you deal. 98% of Astromarters are the best - there are still 2% that will get you. check the warning signs and avoid them Astromart is a great place -

One thing I found out the hard way, don't DELETE your ad until everything including ratings is done. Just mark your ad as sold. Ratings can't be exchanged if the ad isn't available to refer to. If you are the buyer, mention that you are trying to build a good rating and ask the seller to mark the ad as sold but to NOT delete the ad.

Some more Astromart advice. Keep a detailed log of ALL of your Astromart deals. I record the following information: Ad#, date, description of item(s), price, shipping arrangements, the other person's name, their address, e-mail address, phone (if given), when I mailed payment, check #, rating and date I gave it. This has come in very handy several times. I have done around 140 deals and about 25 people haven't rated me, some even after being kindly reminded.
