OK, this isn't really a FAQ ...
But with regard to the potential outages announced today, I have to say that if your ISP tells you your web site is going to experience outages, but won't tell you why and can't give you estimates of duration, you should find a better ISP. This is especially true for a large commercial web site like buytelescopes.com, where web site downtime means lost revenue.
