Isn't there any scope that is low in price, delivery quality pin-point star images, and doesn't cost an arm and a leg?
Scope must be less than or equal to $1200, and have a low f/ ratio.

Vixen R200SS? 8" f/4. Dedicated coma corrector available. Built like a rock. Check Anacortes' for pricing; it meets your criteria. There are several folks with web sites having examples of pics made with this scope. Herm Perez comes to mind.
