I have a Meade 90mm maksutov/telephoto lens, and I'm looking for a more ridged way to couple it other than with a camera adapter. Is there such an adapter that goes directly from the thread on the back of the mak (1 3/8 in OD... < 20 tpi - I have seen this thread on the back of other places too) to a T thread, or is this something I need to turn to my machining guy for? Thanks for any leads!

Give Scopetronix a call or e-mail. If this is the same as the ETX-90 or Celestron C-90, they have a "Large Accessory Ring" and a "STVB Visual Back." These will allow you to use standard 1-1/4" accessories and may work for camera mounting. I use the latter on my C-90 for to get way from the .965-to-1.25" hybrid diagonal. The guys at Scopetronix can answer your questions.
