Auto Guiding with AP 600E

I have an AP600E with the stepper motor drive. The hand controller has an autoguider input on the side. I am wondering if this will wotk with something like the Orion Star Shoot guider in conjunction with a laptop and PHD2 software.

The guider port on your AP hand control is an ST4 port and you can use your guider and PHD software to guide. Make sure your switch on the hand control is on x1 for guiding. I use a similar unit on my 400 QMD and I have had two different 600 QMD mounts in the past. These mounts work great.
