Best approx. $500 scope for imaging?

Hi everyone,

My imaging setup is almost complete - all the parts, pieces, etc. have been bought except the scope.

I was all set on purchasing the ED 80 until I browsed William Optic's website and saw their ZenithStar 66mm Triplet ED APO. I know it's only 66mm vs. 80mm but do you expert imagers think I'd be better off with the ZenithStar instead of the ED 80? Any other suggestions on a high-quality approximately $500 refractor for imaging?

Here is a link to the William Optics 66mm Triplet ED Apo: http://www.william-optics.com/wo_shop/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=21_23&products_id=70

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated as I am close to purchasing, hopefully this week.

I will be imaging with a DSI Pro and a film SLR on a Meade LXD 75 mount. I also thought that the Megrez 80mm II SD Semi-Apo Package for $600 might be worth considering but I worry about CA...

Thanks,

Cameran
