I just purchased a C9.25 OTA. This is the model with the micrometer focuser. I want to remove the focuser assembly, it is held in with 4 screws. Are there any precautions that I should take when removing? I'm needing to clean the focuser and straighten the shaft as it is slightly bent.

The Micrometer focusor just comes off, you can replece it if you want or you can add and electric focus as well.
