Canon lens suggestions wanted

Hi all,

I have a modified Canon 350 Rebel with the stock 18mm - 55mm lens.

I am considering getting a lens with a longer focal length..... somewhere between 100mm and 200mm.

Does anyone have any suggestions for suitable lenses? make... model, etc?

Thanks

Maurice

I use Olympus OM lenses and have had good luck with them via an Fotodiox adapter the $29 one). KEH sells them. Not apo, but good, light, sharp lenses that are extremely reasonable. I have 28mm, 50mm, 135mm and 200mm from my film days.

Hi all,

Thanks for all the suggestions and helpful information. I did not realise that it was relatively easy to get an adaptor to fit film lenses to a digital camera. I do have an olympus 135mm lens, so will chase down one of the adaptors and see how that goes.

Thanks again
