How do the rest of the laptops users here fight dew on the laptop.
I just lost my LCD, the shop said it shorted out from the dew getting in the connectors,, the laptop still still works if I plug it up to a desktop monitor. anyway I guess I have to bite the bullit either way, fix it or get another laptop.
So what do you do to fight off the dew?

I believe Kendrick makes a large heater specifically for laptops. The only draw back is I would think it draws a lot of current because of its size. I bet if you asked John from Dew-Not he might be able to make you a laptop heater that will draw less current. Just a thought.....sorry to hear about your LCD screen

We have a thick cardboard box, 14x14x18, that sits on its side on a table (an 18" side as the bottom). The laptop is deep within the box, where it is protected from dew. The flaps of the box are held with velcro, so the box can be stored flat when not in use.
