Would the EQ2 mount hold the Orion 127 Mak okay? I'm tempted to grab the EQ-2 on clearance at the Meade Outlet and match it to the Orion mak.

Hi:
I checked out the Meade Outlet, didn't see the EQ-2 mount. My personal thinking goes like this:
I have had a couple of EQ-2 class mounts as well as a C-5 OTA. It would probably work but would be marginal. Considering the long focal length of the MAK, freedom from vibration and thus a steady mount would seem to be important in gettng the most out of this scope....
