I want a super eyepiece in the 15mm range. I have been very happy with the Meade 2" Superwide and Ultrawide series. Of course I am considering the 14mm 2" they make. I do wear eyeglasses but remove them for viewing. What do you think? Is there something out there that will become my favorite?

Hello,

If you havn't had a look through a Pentax Xl 14 you owe it to yourself to try. 68 degree fov, tack sharp, good throughput and the easiest eye positioning of any EP in that focal length that I've tried.

Cheers, Eric

In 2" diameter the Nagler 13mm or 17mm w/82 deg. fov are winners.
In 1 1/4" the Panoptic 15mm w/ 68 deg. fov is very, very nice.

David,

FYI - The Meade 14mm UWA also works in 1.25" focusers. I own one and its the EP of choice for clusters when using my C14.

Regards,

Angel
