Hello,
Just wondering if anybody has heard of a device that holds several eyepieces to the telescope so you dont have to take one out and put one in. I have heard there is a filter turret kind of object that allows you to turn the wheel and look through different filters. Would be nice to have a holder that would hold several eyepieces and all you would need to do is turn the turret (or whatever they call it) to view through. Kind of hard to explain. ANy thoughts or suggestions? I have a meade lx 90 and would there be any other items I would need w/ a turret? T. J.

there is one that intes makes for 2" ep's.
I use it on my tmb105 with giro mount and bogen tripod loaded with even a 31nagler et al. and all is needed is recentering, otherwise stable.
be extremely leary for loose ep's - i once dropped one fortunately onto grass. wouldve been very bad on tarmack.

Van Slyke Engineering produces them...he has Hexagonal Turrets that support six simultanious 1 1/4 inch eyepieces as well as 2 inch eyepieces. He is custom building a 2 inch Hex for me that will concurrently accomidate my complete Nagler range (from the 31 handgrenade on down to the type 6 1&1/4 inch's)...it will also have an integrated filter slot adapter to permit the eyepieces to shareout a single or multiple stacked filters..the slot adapter supports independant insurtion of a filter without having to remove the eyepiece...an important consideration as one of the rationals for investing in a turret is so you dont have to remove eyepieces.....
