Focuser for Orion ED100?

Hi all,

Has anyone replaced the stock focuser on an ED100? If so, what looks good. Was it a major project or easy to do? I am planning to hang an SBIG ST2000 off it.

Thanks!!

I have a couple of Moonlite focusers that I like very much. Those are a very popular replacement focuser for the ED80/ ED100. For CCD I would definitely consider the high resolution stepper motor option which offers a stated load capacity of 10lbs. Also the people at moonlite are great to deal with. See:

I am having a custom focuser made for my Meade 127ED by Wyorock. I will post something when it arrives and I get a chance to check it out.
