Thinking about moving up to a better type focuser for my 9.25" SCT. hopefully to eliminate slight mirror shift. Was wondering about the JMI electric focuser?? has anyone tried one out... concerned about the "fine" adjustment aspect.. thinking a manual type two/speed might be the better way to go. thank you for any insight.. John M. Astoria, OR.

The act of touching the focuser to adjust it induces vibration that upsets focus. Therefore, there is an andvantage to electric focusers. Whether it is enough to justify the cost depends on you.
