I have seen the adds and haven't heard anything in the forums yet. It appears the new design incorporates a stronger corrector and a new two element corrector placed in the baffle tube. Does anyone have any insight into this design? They say it is aplanatic and will produce a coma free as well as flat field over a 35 mm format at the normal focal plane. Any comments or any units in use yet?

I do wonder about cooling the scope. The lenses in
the baffle tube will rule out the conventional
Cat Coolers. There is a new filtered vent, but I
expect it is mostly decoration without some fan
to push air through it. I wonder if there is some
air path out of the baffle tube, such that a
shortened or modified Cat Cooler might still work.

I am actually in the middle of choosing a new telescope for imaging and I would consider a 14" Edge HD if the focal length wasn't so great and I am not that big of a fan of the Hyperstar route. So the question is will they make a new line of reducers for these scopes? If so maybe it is a candidate.
