Can anyone help me identify this mount. I don't have it yet, but it is coming with a Pronto. Looks like it has the same feet as the Vixen Polaris EQ mount. Maybe just the legs are from the Polaris mount. This is the only photo I have.

I'm not sure of the brand but it is not Televue.

I am quite sure that it is a Vixen/Celestron ALT-AZ mount that would have come with a Japanese 80mm F/11 such as the original First Scope. It looks to me though that the Pronto is mounted cross-ways on the mount, this is what is confusing about the photo, once that is established, then it is clearly the Celestron/Vixen mount. The plastic spreader is not characteristic either, that would have come from a later mount. The original mount would have used metal spreaders with solid triangular steel tray.

I should have a better photo but I can't find it, the mount in question is in the lower right hand corner. I have had a few of these, they never seem to be labeled.

Get a look at the Meade 390 head in this ad....

Very similar -- give or take the tripod and couple knobs.
Perhaps one is clone of the other, or same factory with different label.
